This formerly belonged to Mr. Roy Wood Sr.,now deceased.He was one of the first successful black disc jockeys from the 1940s and 1950s,and my dear friend ,who went on to become a top broadcaster in Chicago,and New York with the National Black Network in the 1960s and on.His radio show on KATZ radio in St. Louis in 1956 introduced me to black music and we remained friends until his death in the late 1990s.
